haha, yeah, Draco and Hermione is quite cute. I do wish there were more good fics about them though. They always seem to be the same.

Like what though? The scenarios where they are both Head Boy and Girl? To be truthful I am getting sick of those but it is so hard to bring them together any other way and I cannot accuse anyone of using that to an almost unidealistic way because I have used that same starting point for one of my fics... I do try and do things differently though, for example right now I am doing a simple one and they aren't even able to be Heads because of their age so... just trying to mix it up keeps the pair fresh and sweet!

No, Draco and Hermione don't work unless it's totally out of character. He wouldn't touch her - she's a mudblood.

I dunno, I think it could work if put in the right situations, but you generally need to tweak a few character traits of both characters.
Draco and GInny have the same problem though. I am actually trying to write my first fanfic that is going to be completely realistic to their characters (It's called Sacrifice). I'm not doing anything OOC, so hopefully it turns out alright, but it is R rated, so not for the faint hearted, or under 17 year olds. But yeah, basically I am attempting to bring them together without resorting to cliche, or making their characters change. I am hoping that I will pull it off.

"Tweak" haha.
Draco and Ginny is a completely different story (pun not intended)... Ginny is a blood traitor, yes, but traitors can be forgiven, heritage cannot.
That sounds good, moogle - I shall want to read it, you know. Will it be on ff.net?

Ginny...? Why is Ginny becoming so... popular... with Draco? She's a Weasley.

I hate using one-word posts, and I believe they have been forbidden.
She is a Weasley. So what?

If we look back, Weasley's have married Blacks, haven't they? Although they are blood traitors, they're still pureblooded as the rest! It wouldn't be completely going against Draco's morals to fall in love with her.
We're straying off topic, though.

Hey Birdie, I was wondering if I could ask you a question aside from the conversation. I was showing my friedn this site because she is another fan of Harry Potter and she is fascinated by the way things are here and well since no one else appears to be on right now I was wondering if you think that it would be okay for her to join...? Get back to me A.S.A.P.

Lol, anyone can join this site. We encourage people to join. Get your friends, your family, anyone, because we love to get new people!!
On the off topic before, lol, I think that although yes Ginny is a pureblood, she is still a member of a family that the Malfoy's detest. Hermione is a muggleborn, which is a no-go. Both girls are off-limits as you would say, but I think Ginny does have more of a chance in being accepted because she is still pureblood. However, getting them to overcome their differences is still the same process of breaking down their prejudice.
Veritaserum, the story can be found on my profile on FFnet. I would definitly say that it is not something you should read if you don't like angst and very dark themes.
To get back on topic though, what do you think of Hermione and Snape? I see this is a really common ship, but I just find it slightly disturbing myself. What do you all think?

I have never seen how that works before. Yes, I admit, I am sightly prejudiced with HermionexAnyone except Ron parings. But Snape hates Hermione as much as any Slytherin does, and Hermione is just ordinarily brilliant at Potions/Defence not above her standard, so she's nothing special to him.
*Ooh moogle, I read the first chapter last night, and that was amazing! But I decided that it perhaps wasn't the best of choices for lates bed-time reading hehe

ahha, glad you liked it. I agree with what you said (except the Ron/Hermione part ) But seriously, just because Hermione is intelligent does not mean that Snape will like her. I just cannot understand this. She's a student, and it frankly surprises me that so many people find Snape/Hermione appealing. The age difference alone is just wrong, and then you have the whole negative aspect in the fact that Hermione is a nice girl, and Snape, well, Snape is just mean anyway.

I'm sorry to change the subject, but I am a dramione fan also...I get enough Ron/Hermione in the books, and frankly, it's getting old.

Well, only one more book of it left, (though I am still inwardly hoping by some miracle that H/Hr will happen).
