LOL^^
I have things like that. Me and a friend have agreed to not sit next to each other in lectures, because my book ended up having a whole conversation written on it, instead of us taking any notes. We're terrible together, but it was so funny at the time.

-laughs-
I was reading over my Mum's Sociology lecture notes from last semester (She's going a Bachelor of Psychology - First Year). And in the middle of one of the pages it has a whole conversation between her and my friend Jamie(Who took the same class).
It says stuff like:
Did he say he screws little boys? He must have. Maybe he does. Probably. Coffee after? Yep, I'll tell Bec.
And I'm like: "Wha...?"

It was quite refreshing actually, after reading note after note of mindless social crap.

Lol, true. It always makes me laugh come exams times when I am looking for a particular set of notes, and I realise instead of where the notes should be there are weird pictures and silly conversations. Last semester was rather stressful because of it though, when I realised I had to write a 1600 word essay with no information to go by.

haha, I guess we all have our things like that. It's just soooo hard to stay attentive when you have boring, stupid, annoying lecturers who like to waffle on about anything but the topic, and when they finally do talk about the topic, it is so tedious and drony that you just switch off anyway.

Most of my lecturers are fantastic, and interesting, and everything... but the topics... we just started Critical Reasoning in Philosophy.
I got my Epistemology essay back. 4/5. Highest mark in the class. My lecturer says he's never given 5/5 for an epistemology essay, and probably never well.
I'm a little upset about it. But what can I do? As my Sociology Lecturer said last Semester when I cornered her and asked her why I only got 95.5% for that class: "You can't ALWAYS get 100%" At the time I grumbled about how I have never gotten less. But now I see her logic.

Lol, Elle you are doing wonders in your classes if that is your average mark.
My lecturers are mostly musty old men who have been teaching too long and don't know what the meaning of, "new techniques" means. Though there is one lecturer I have, who teaches me "History on Film" and he is great. I'm going to take his class next year about the Aztecs.
I'm doing Logic at the moment, which is similar to critical reasoning. How are you liking it? I am finding it intolerably boring, lol.

I loved Epistemology, but Critical Reasoning.. its killing me a little more everyday. -laughs-
No, I love it. I truly do. Can't waitto get into my Theology degree. Only Four more years to go!
My lecturers rock. One last semester was this eccentric, outrageous imcredibly-intelligent Aboriginal woman. She's my favourite. My Philosophy lecturer is this awesome old guy who has long grey hair like a hippie and used to be in a band. My Law lecturer is this awesome lady who always makes hilarious references to her affinity to Rum.
Its a good mix.

Aw, sounds like you have an interesting bunch. I really wish I had that!
I almost killed myself when I realised my philosophy class uses maths. We've moved on from forming arguments, and all that propositions and premises stuff into the whole formal side, which is a lot like algebra. I've never been spectacular with maths, but I am hoping I will do okay, lol. I need to get another scholarship for next year.

Don't you guys get HECS?
Yeah, my lecturer is always refering to stuff with Maths and Science stuff. Have you been doing the whole:
If B, then G. If G, then E. If E is false. ----- (Therefore Symbol) Not B.

Lol, that is easy stuff. We're doing the whole.
`(P > Q) & ( R & `Q) v P
You have to convert the english argument into those ^^ or you have to convert that into english and figure out the truth values and stuff. It's so boring and dumb.
