Voldemort
Yeah Desdemona is a character out of Othello. it's his wife who he kills because Iago makes him think that she's cheating on him with Cassio. It's quite an easy play to understand... easier then Taming of the Shrew. But that one is better...

Potter
I thought Othello was pointless. All those deaths were just a waste. All they had to do was tell each other what was going on.

needles (pins and needles, yeah im cool lol)
yeah the deaths are really dramatic, but you have to remember, Othello had been fed the truth, however with Igao whispering in his ear, and the information he was given, it made it seem that she had cheated on him, and because of his love for her, his jealousy took over, and thus the whole points of the story, the green eyed monster reeked its havoc on the world. waow, i am actually understanding this area of study... cool... better then change *shudder* Shakespeare, as everyone knows, was a man of drama, humor and morals.
and alot of sexual innuendo. "I am one, sir, that comes to tell you your daughter and the Moor are now making the beat with two backs." oh my. Gotta love this play... or at least Shakespeare...

(are you allowed to repeat words like that?)
I loved Othello! So twisted and sad... Though I've gotta say A Midsummer Night's Dream is my favorite Shakespeare play. It was just so random and cute. lol

(i hadnt realized it had repeated, sorry bout that. Not sure if it is allowed though, it was the first thing i thought of.)
Taming of the Shrew is still the best one ever. lol. but Othello is quite fun too, when you arent having to break it down to the stage kindy kids could understand it because the people in the class wont pay attention. *grumbles*
