lol we have no heaters and im not even sure if there is insulation in the roof. ^.^ funn. oh well winter is almost over. The only problem with too many blankets is that it pushes on my bones too much and ends up damaging my joints and i cant move properly during the day.

Wow, that bad? I don't ever get it that bad, but sometimes I feel trapped, lol. Lucky I am not claustrophobic.
We have no heating, no insulation here either. I'm just waiting for Winter to pass so I can be warm again.

lol yeah. I live in my hoodie most days... good old Sleight of Hand jumper. ^^ i wear it to school, and it has a logo and everything on it... yet they say nothing about it... teachers yell at so many kids for the smallest things, yet i turn up in some random band shirt, hoodie and pinstripe pants, oh and converse!! haha. so basically.. out of uniform. ^^ yet all the principle comments on is how long my hair has gotten. lol.

Lol, I never got away with uniform things. The amount of detentions I got for wearing the wrong shoes was ridiculous.

lol they tried with me once... but gave up since when ever i do wear the uniform, i stop paying attention in class and end up aggro all day. I dont know why. lol. so they just let me turn up in what ever. ^^ its funny because i am now the chair person of the student rep council. ^.^

*nods* dont know why but they really seem to... but then again i'm the one that tells the kids to sit down, shut up and they do. ^.^ people at school now either respect me, or are afraid of me. It's great. lol. i love being a senior. I don't try to scare them or anything, but apparently i just am. lol.

ahahahaha. Oh well, at least it lets you get away with things.
Even when I was a senior that just didn't happen for me. I'm so short that the third formers always thought I was their age. I do have a way of making people listen to me when I want them to though. I was one of the only 7th formers who could get my peer support group to listen to me effortlessly, and I never had to yell at them, ehhee.

-laughs- You must have gone to a private school, Moogs. I hear you guys wear jandals in summer for shoes to school. That is so awesome.
Scream, you go to public school. I went to Morisett High for three months last year, I wore almost half my uniform on the first day, after that I just gave up. But I didn't have to attend classes or anything, like all the other students (Go, special considerations!).
-laughs-
I just remembered, when I went to my old school (a private school, stuck up snobs!), I was the reason they changed the school uniform (A bunch of teachers on the board told me this). Crazy aye. I mean, sure, I spent the entirety of year nine and the first term and a half of year ten on detention for it, but come on! Oh well.

LOL that is pretty crazy, Elle^^
I've always been public, it's just all the schools I have been to always seem to be obsessed with wearing the correct uniform. Most of the time I was pretty good, but I was terrible when it came to shoes. I always wore the wrong shoes (my comfy/warm ones in winter, and jandals in summer) and I also got told off for wearing tops under my shirts, but when it's cold that is what you do!
Maybe some schools here let you wear jandals, but mine were always these horrible sandal things, which I just detested. I was so relieved once I hit 7th form and could wear what I want.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking... don't you guys get to wear whatever you want, like in America, at public schools?
All my family over there, who are at school, are in Catholic schools.

In my highschool we never had to wear uniforms, but we did have a dress code. Like no stomach's showing and no baggy pants. Some of the schools do require uniforms, but not many.

Yeah, itsn't it only the private schools that have uniform over in the US?

Well, I think some of them here allow no uniforms, but I know a lot of them do, and certainly all the High schools I have been to, and know of did. Our uniforms are just generally uglier than the private/catholic ones

Not always, some of the richer areas have public schools that require uniforms. The poor cities can't always afford them and many towns believe in free expression in the schools. I was just pissed in my school cause they wouldn't let me color my hair or have piercings(aside ears).
