I've never actually written slash, though I can enjoy it immensely when written well. I read much more RonHermione than anything else, though I'll stray to a HarryDraco occasionally withing the realm of Harry Potter fanfiction.

haha very good. I only ever write Harry/Draco... except for like one fic which didnt even have pairings. And that was a song fic about the final war. haha.
I still love my newest fic, normally I really don't like something that I have written, or at least not very proud of it. But this one is different, it represented a change in my own tastes and thoughts, beyond just the liking of coffee suddenly over whelming me. It's called Coffee, by ScreamforSOH. Check it out if you want. There is slash, and fem!slash. But nothing graphic really. It's on ff.n of course though and reviews are desired. *grins*
there are so many different ways which it is established though, slash relationships that is. Some are accidental, others due to manipulation, some just for convenience while there are others leading to attempted/suicide or murder...
I think that is something I love about it. Everyone has their own kind of romance, style of writing and plot lines...

Slash.
I write it, read it, adore it, ship it, and pretend that it's got moments in canon. I have written a couple of fics. And my main ship is Harry/Draco. I will defend that pairing to the end...which it kind of is, but you know what I mean. Truly, I'm weird. The only thing in slash that bothers me really bad are Sirius/Harry fics or Remus/Harry fics. It's just not right. No, never. Gah.
I like the different pairings you can have and all the plots, twists, and....it's just so much fun. I believe in my slash so much that Het pairings don't make sense to me. I know, I know. It has to be really good, like amazing, for me to read and like a het fic.

Much the same with me... although... only two Het pairings really make sense to me..... BellaXVoldemort and LilyXSeverus.... other than that? eh.

I will admit that I do like reading Harry/Luna fics. And I have read a single Harry/Ginny that I liked, it was a huge epic fic that was hilarious. I pretty much bash Ginny though in all the fics I've written. Harry/Draco is where it's at. And if Kni ever reads this, Harry/Blaise. -cough-

I've gotten a bit sick of HarryDraco pairings to be honest. I go for the more rare pairings that could almost be crack. They tend to be written better and are much more rmeoved from the cliche of creature, ministry, or potion induced love. A good HarryHermione or HarryGinny every once in a while can keep me reading so long as the relationship is actually built up. I have to be tricked into thinking it could be a slash and then, right when I'm hooked, the het ambushes me. -laughs-

That's happened to me before. Or worse, it surprises me with Harry/Hermione. -shudders- That is one ship I will not read for anything. And yeah, Harry/Draco is a pretty overdone ship, but I have my core fics that will always make that the best pairing to me.

harry/draco has been done to the stage that there is no new plot. ever. but the way it is written, the small details, is what keeps me reading. Plus the different kinds of relationship they hold together... but I have to admit... if Draco is sub... I probably won't read it.
*shrug* Harry didn't eat for half his life... he was pushed around and made into being the lowest on any hierarchal chain at home... do you really think he would have the confidence and mind set to be dominant?
lol. even worse is when it is harry/tom... and harry is dominant... do you really think that the Dark Lord would let Harry Potter... or anyone for that matter... top him?! unless magical handcuffs were involved... oh the joys of abandon... or was that in the sequel? anyway... you get my point. :3
