Sadly, most of these fit me, especially the first.

haha That's brilliant...
And btw, I can't remember who said it now, but someone mentioned "I'm not like this in the real world" this isn't the real world, not really.
Harry potter is the real world. Anna-Rose says so.
And sadly, as the next book is so close to coming out, I'm starting to believe her, I remember more from the books and the history of Harry Potter then I do anything from my own life, I don't even fully remember yesterday. And forgetting my own name, I do that all the time. When out with friends, I meet a lot of new people, and they ask my name, and on habit I say, 'Scream'. Then they ask for my real name and I have to think and after a minute or so answer with a, 'OH! Sarah, yeah that's right... *thinks* yess.".
it's really quite frightful actually. O.o too much Harry Potter 4 movie.
Waow... I ramble a lot. Sorry!! xoxo

Hmm, as far as forgetting things and talking about other things, although most of the dinner conversations at my house are about Harry Potter and theories on how it will end, pairings that make no sense, and funny sayings, all we talk about is World of Warcraft. Seriously. My problem has gotten so bad I'll have three to four dreams a week about it. And then I go off and ramble, and I've even called my parents to ask them if they knew where certain locations were on the map, but my mother thought I was asking for a real place while my father knew the location. Which annoyed her.
But in the real world, I quite forget my own name and say Tiggs. Then people look at me and I say Powell. Then they frown and I go 'OH, *that* name.."

lol sounds like fun.
Hahaha in my group at school... particularly ext english class... Harry Potter is the real world to us....
Makes it quite interesting when we are talking about it during class and the teacher is like... 'okay, back to the real world.. you all had homework... ' before we all turn to her and say in harmony in a very soft and delusional voice, 'But Harry Potter is the real world miss.' Oh the Joys of English.
I guess it was things like that which forced her to ban Harry Potter in her class room... oops
I always say scream when people ask for my name... although after one incident, I've kind of broken the habit, I said it once when talking to my friend's mate for the first time and he was like.. 'Right, Lesbian.' before turning and talking to my friend. lol. nice ey?

I don't think I've ever forgotten my name quite like that, but going on the 'forgot the conversation' part, my friend and I were talking, and I suppose I tuned her out to watch the game without realizing it. The next thing I know, I'm nodding and agreeing, (you know, the good old 'smile and nod' policy), when I realized I wasn't listening, and had to ask her to repeat it. We both cracked up, and everyone around us just stared...

lol I do that all the time during class... it's really bad, because it's normally something that will be in a test, and when it's the teachers that if you ask for them to repeat, they get angry and send you out... haha. oops. Even worse is when they catch you out on it, although it's quite funny when they talk about something then ask you to repeat it and as you go to, you realise you can't think of anything they just said, and as soon as they start to say it again you remember it word for word...
My memory is odd like that.
