There is a new position being created, hence the new thread to inform you of it: An Attendance Monitor. The attendance monitor should be responsible for looking at the records the Professors post in the Staff Room and totalling up the number of points lost and gained for each student in a form that I will create for them. The attendance monitor would total those points up and then give the overall score at the end. There are set regulations of how many points should be awarded or deducted for various actions of the students. If anyone is interested, please post: Name: House: Reason for Applying:And you will be considered for the post.

Okay, I realise that wasn't the clearest of posts. If show you all what I showed another member who asked about the job duties, would you give me feedback please?
The Professors will say if they want to give house points to a student. You just add up the points the Professors want to give for each student according to their houses. Like say there were two students from Hufflepuff getting 5 points each, you would post saying "Hufflepuff: 10 points" then the names of the students involved in those poinst (but obviously do the other houses too) and then if one student from Gryffindor gets 5 points, you would put in your post "Gryffindor:5 points." then the name of the student.
But points can be deducted for certain things, like not handing in homework. So you'd look and see how many points they would have lost according to what they've done (there is a list set out for you) and put in your post eg. "Gryffindor: - 5 points" then the name of the student. For example, you would post:
Points Gained
Hufflepuff: 10 points. Student1, Student2 Ravenclaw: 3 points. Student3 Gryffindor: 5 points. Student4 Slytherin: 5 points. Student 5.
Points Lost Hufflepuff: - 5 points. Student 2 Gryffindor: - 10 points. Student 6.
Total Points Hufflepuff: 5 points Ravenclaw: 3 points Gryffindor: - 5 points Slytherin: 5 points
Is that any clearer?

I'm afraid you'll hae to be far more active than that. This is a full time, everyday job.

Elle, the Professors aren't going to post their points every day - they hardly post them at all now. But I think certain days of the week may be more active than others depending on when the Professors set their homework.

I still don't believe you've been a member long enough. Look at the Hall of Shame. After that, I will be very wary of new members.
Sorry, but the answer is no.

Yes, Elle is right. Perhaps when your post count is a little higher, may you can re-apply.
