Hey! Today we're going to talk about muggle music!
Listening to and/or playing music is important to muggles in many ways. Like the wizarding world, some muggles make their living performing music. Others listen to it to relax or to get into a certain mood.
While wizards just have a radio as their means of listening to music, muggles have many different ways of listening to music in addition to the radio. The following are some of the different things muggles use to listen to music: -Cassette Tape: A small rectangular plastic object with a film of recorded music stored inside of it. -Compact Disc (CD): A shiny circular disc that has music stored on it. It can hold more music than a cassette tape. -MP3 Player: Small muggle technological device that can hold thousands and thousands of songs in a small space. -There are other ways for muggles to listen to music like Sattelite Radio, Record Player, etc.
Your assignment has THREE parts: PART 1: Write one paragraph on any way that muggles can listen to music. Describe how that particular method works and list a few ways we can use magic to improve upon it.
PART 2: Write a paragraph on a muggle music genre (e.g. Classical, Rock, R & B, etc.). Describe the type of music, the history of that type, and a few examples of artists.
PART 3: Find the lyrics of a muggle song that mentions magic.
