I think that they are going to kill it. lol
I still reckon the idea of a mini series is great.... should be interesting, because by the time that even gets thought of.. the original fans of harry potter are going to be the adults and be the ones making it.. not some one that has thought that making a childrens book would be good..
like with lord of the rings, a true fan directed that. when young he wondered how long it would be till it would be made into a movie, and he ended up doing it.
lol

I thought the kiss was a little too much action for a first kiss. I mean, think back to your first kiss, I know mine was awkward, uncomfortable, and yes, dammit wet. I pulled away as fast as I could, lol.

I died inside watching this movie. They left out so much in the department of mysteries. And why was there no quidditch??? They completely ignore tonks, and leave out a lot in the D.A. Bottom Line: I hated it with a fiery, burning, passion.

I know what you mean. It...I suppose mostly just wasn't how I'd imagined it, with the big field in the middle of Little Whinging, for starters, and then, yeah, Dudley was kind of weird...
I did like how they used the newspapers to tell some of the story, so it wasn't as choppy as the others have been. The ending was extremely anti-climactic. I wasn't expecting a bunch of sets, as it was, after all, the movie, not the book, which is rarely as good if you read the book first, but it seemed like they were rushing and running around, and then it all kind of...stopped, I suppose, when Sirius got hit with the wrong color light. I thought, 'I sat through all of that, and that was the best they could do?'
I also didn't like Harry's monologue or whatever it was when he was being possessed. The flashbacks were fine, but he really shouldn't have opened his mouth. It made me cringe.
I did like how they did Luna, though. She seemed almost exactly like I had imagined her in the books.
I just wonder how people who haven't read the books understand it. Maybe they don't notice what's left out, so they don't realize what they're missing? It seems to me as if they leave plot holes all through the movies, but maybe that simply comes from knowing what's supposed to happen?

lol yeah. It's crazy trying to just watch the movie and forget all the background information from the books... >.< the park did confuse me... but it did get the point across about the heat wave, which i didnt really see the point of... it worked in the book just as a contrast for when the dementors turned up...
oh well. And they did have the wrong curse for Sirius.. he was supposed to be stunned *falls* *disappears* and thats it... not *cursed* *dies* *falls* *disappears*.
*grumbles* haha the lady in front of me missed it since she had turned around to yell at me for "talking"... i hadnt said anything, it was the people behind me.. lol. when she had stopped talking i was like.. "sirius died" pointing at the screen. her face was priceless. *nods*

Yeah, the Sirius thing got me pretty TO'd. And WTF no quidditch. Holy darn, mofo's.
If they do cut off DH into two movies, I think it's best done right when Ron leaves: "Screw you! I'm done!" Intermission...
haha. no.
