Homework is due this Thursday, the 26th of July, no excuses.
I am sure many of you may be willingly here. That is good. Since this is only our first lesson I shall begin with a simple potion that should help anyone with boils. If you mess it up, perhaps you will be so unfortunate to show the affects of your work.
The ingredients needed for this potion are as follows: Dried nettles Crushed snake fangs Stewed horned slugs Porcupine quills
1. Crush and weigh your dry sngredients which include the dried nettles, and crushed snake fangs. 2. Stew your horned slugs in your cauldron until they are done, which should be ten minutes if you have done your fire properly, and then remove your cauldron. Note: It is vital that you do not add your porcupine quills until after you take the cauldron off the fire. 3. When your cauldron is removed from the fire, add the porcupine quills, crushed snake fangs and dried nettles at the same time. 4. Let the potion steep for five minutes, then stir for five more. Do this three times.
Once you are done, put your potion into a phial and bring it up to me.
Homework:
Tell me five ways that this potion to cure boils can go wrong.
