Peter's face paled until he looked no more than a ghost. His eyes were bulging out of his head as he stared at the hideous mark on Snape's arm, not sure whether he wanted to run or faint; both seemed appealing right now.
"Y-you'll never succeed," Peter all-but-squeaked, his eyes finally lifting from the mark to stare at the seething boy before him. "T-there's no way Dumbledore w-will let y-you g-get away with this."

"Dumbledore is nothing but an old blundering fool. He thinks with the concepts of love and trust. Only those with power will suceed, and the Dark Lord is power. He is corruption and temptation and all of the above. He will bathe this world in an Era of Darkness that not even Grindelwald could ever imagine."

Peter really did squeak in fright then. He couldn't believe what he was hearing, what he was seeing, and knowing that he was completely powerless to stop it. Could he, poor, little Peter Pettigrew- the boy who had no courage unless protected by his friends- possibly tell anyone about what he had seen?
"What are you going to do with me?" Peter asked in a small voice, wondering what nasty plan Snape had. He knew Snape was not stupid enough to show him the mark unless he was sure that Peter would not tell anyone and ruin his plans.

Severus stepped away then, sliding his wand into the sleeve of his robes as he let them fall, covering his arm once more.
"You will not say anything. You're too much of a coward to do such a thing. What Potter and the others ever saw in you I will never know, nor do I need to."
Severus turned to go, his words drifting over his shoulder, almost enticing.
"If you ever want to stop being a coward, Pettigrew, think about the man that can stop even death. Then tell me if the old man has that much power."

Peter inwardly sighed with relief, realising Snape was not going to hurt him. His last words, however, made Peter pause. Was Snape really inviting him to join the Death Eaters?
Peter watched as Snape walked away, a frown on his face. Even if he was a coward, he was not stupid enough to join the Dark Lord. That was for evil people: people like Snape. Peter, no matter what his faults, was not as deranged as that, but now he did worry about what to do. Could he tell?
Grumbling to himself, Peter walked off down the corridor back towards his common room, hoping no more nasty encounters would happen.

Severus smirked to himself as he made his way back to the Slytherin Common. Pettigrew would eventually fold and seek him out. Potter and his friends would, eventually, push him a little too far. Then he would be able to bring him to his Master as another sacrifical lamb. Someone desiring power and revenge so much that he would eventually die for it.

Peter trudged back up to the common room and entered, still feeling shocked from what he had seen and heard. He noticed Lily and Remus and felt the old anger rushing back as he saw the girl that had ruined his friendship. It was all her fault...
Taking a deep breath, Peter started stomping towards his dorm when the hem of his robe got caught on his foot, sending him stumbling to the ground. Laughter rang around the common room and Peter slowly lifted his face, the colour now a horrible red.
(Lizzy, I've said this to the others, but with RPG you can't control the other players actions. So in your post you can't say that remus was watching you understandingly or that Sirius and James had walked in. I know as a writer it is easy to do that, but with RPG's you need to keep your actions to your character only, otherwise you end up dictating what the other person's character does too.)

Severus stood in the Slytherin Common Room, staring into the fireplace. No matter how petty Peter Pettigrew (what a mouthful) was, he could not seem to get his mind off of the boy. The Dark Lord, his Lord, accepted all of pure blood. All of righteous anger. All of power and strength and darkness. For all of his blubbering, Peter was dark. Severus would see it. As small as it was, it existed. His tie to all that he seemingly loathed. So, he smirked, a dark look upon his pallid features. Only time would tell.

Frowning at the laughter, Remus gave a quick nod in farewell to Lily and rushed over to Peter.
He held out a hand to his friend. "You okay?" he asked, not having missed Peter's black look as he had entered the Common Room.

Sorry...I deleted it because i thought that would be best.
Lily sighed, rubbing her eyes as Remus left. She wished people would be nicer to Peter. She knew that she always felt a little uncomfortable when he was around, but that was no reason to take enjoyment in the fact that others were so cruel. Instead she turned to look at the fire, thinking back to the old days with Snape. He had been her best friend, hadn't he? THey had gotten along, hadn't they? Wasn't their friendship enough, wasn't she enough? For a moment she almost considered the question she had been avoiding about them, then pushed it to the back of her mind. Snape was different now, but when she looked at him she still saw the boy who had taught her about magic and told her she was special. A tear trickled down her cheak and she wiped at it furiously, not wanting to waste any more tears on a person who had been so cruel to her.

You didn't need to do that, lol, but too late now.
Peter stared up at the hand before his eyes, almost surprised by the kind gesture. Lupin had never really bothered with him much before, for he was always closer to James and Sirius. Sometimes Peter felt like Lupin just pitied him, but right now he was willing to seize on anything if only to escape from the loneliness he was feeling since James had started spending more time with Lily.
"Yeah," Peter mumbled quietly, awkwardly taking Lupin's hand and allowing him to pull him to his feet. "I'm alright."
He could still feel his face burning and dimly wondered why he always seemed to be the one being humiliated.

Lily walked down the hallway, her feet echoing in the stillness. Portraits around her dozed in a dismal sleep. She sighed, her tears had finally ended and she had takne a walk to cool off. She would have to get back to the portrait room soon, but she just needed a few more minutes. Hogwarts was so comforting now. Once upon a time she would have been scared to be out all alone, but now she took solace in it. It was perfect. She felt this comfort, but suddenly she felt a hand on her arm. The sudden surprise and rush of it made her scream catch in her throat...
is that against the rule? saying there was a hand? just asking, because if i didn't say who it was...

Regulus wandered the halls aimlessly, wallowing in his self-doubt about his family and what was happening with Severus. He knew his friend had eyes for that red-headed mudblood -- he had ever since they'd known each other. Was Sirius going to abuse his one-time-brother for being friends with someone who Potter felt the urge to humiliate in front of the rest of the population of Hogwarts? And why didn't the Headmaster do anything about things like this? It just wasn't right to leave students to fend for themselves, especially those like Severus! The likely reason, and the only reason that Regulus could come up with as the answer to his own nagging question was that the Headmaster, Dumbledore, completely favoured his dear little Gryffindors so much that it became an overwhelming bias against Slytherin.
I mean, how would have things gone if Regulus, too, had been sorted into Gryffindor, as his supposed "brother" had? Would it be any better for him, or would it just have made things that much worse?
Steeling his mind, he made up his mind. He wouldn't think of things like this any more -- they were foolish, childish thoughts -- not ones that a future follower of the Dark Lord should be thinking! They just weren't suitable thoughts for someone like himself to be even be on the verge of thinking.
Setting his lips into a stiff line, he stalked back down to the dungeons.

Severus sat in the Common Room, lost in his thoughts. Thoughts that concerned Lily and her Gryffindor friends. The Dark Lord and the mark he now bore on his arm. Life. He just wanted her to understand... to love him for what and who he was.

(Not really. I suppose it gives a way to bring in someone, so you can do that as long as you don't specifiy who. Someones does need to be the person who grabbed you though, so you might want to PM someone to get them to do it)
Peter walked away from Lupin, wanting to just be by himself for now. He went up to his dorm and went to bed, his mind still turning over the confusing thoughts in his brain.
